Solar PV panels

Harnessing the sun's energy efficiently and effectively for use in your home.

Solar PV panels can be fitted to most buildings on the roof tiles, within the roof tiles or on the ground. Solar photovoltaic modules generate and store electricity from the sun's energy through the use of rechargeable modules. This energy will contribute to the running of household appliances and lighting whilst emitting no greenhouse gases.

Any excess energy generated by the PV system can be sold back to the local electricity network when your system is connected. Contact your supplier for more details.

Installation options are flexible and include on–roof, canopy, façade, sky light and complete roof solutions.

Altherma air source heat pumps

A highly efficient solution that minimises impact on the environment and running costs.

This domestic heating and hot water system is based on air source heat pump (ASHP) technology. It offers a flexible and cost effective alternative to a fossil fuel boiler.

The ASHP system is 3 to 5 times more efficient than a traditional boiler system with a reduction of 30–50% CO2 emissions.

Its low running and low maintenance costs make it a great alternative to a traditional boiler and it's flexibility means that it can be connected to under floor heating, radiators and fan coils. It's easy to install with no groundwork (trenches or boreholes)

The ASHP system is unobtrusive and quiet and uses a single phase power supply with a low starting current. As a package of energy saving measures, it will help towards a higher rating in the Code for Sustainable Homes.
